Senior Multi-Imaging Technician - Outpatient (MRI Needed/CT Cross Training Available)

Responsibilities

• Affixes to the scheduling, staffing, and operational tasks within the department.
• Executes examinations and offers guidance to the technological staff to maintain a high standard of work.
• Assists in the orientation and training of new hires.
• Utilizes a range of equipment such as scanners, power injectors, computers, and software to input patient data into hospital databases.
• Contributes to the department's overall excellence by demonstrating commitment to personal technical and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Three years of relevant work experience.
• Advanced ARRT registry in the primary modality worked.
• New Jersey state licensure required.
• Ability to solve problems using basic principles and in-depth experience-based knowledge.
• Capacity to explain clinical, technical, and diagnostic procedures to patients and their families.
