About the role

Performs specialized MRI procedures to produce diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation, ensuring patient care and safety principles are followed. Acts as a Super User or in a specialized registry area.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct MRI scans
  • Manage equipment including MRI scanners and power injectors
  • Assist with patient positioning and safety
  • Demonstrate technical proficiency in cross-sectional anatomy and 3-D imaging
  • Handle IV insertions
  • Adapt to stressful situations while manipulating equipment and transporting patients

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with completion of an accredited Radiologic or MRI Technologist Program
  • 1+ years of relevant experience or a bachelor's degree
  • Certifications include ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT 1 Advanced registry

Skills & Knowledge
