About the role
Performs specialized MRI procedures to produce diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation, ensuring patient care and safety principles are followed. Acts as a Super User or in a specialized registry area.
Responsibilities
- Conduct MRI scans
- Manage equipment including MRI scanners and power injectors
- Assist with patient positioning and safety
- Demonstrate technical proficiency in cross-sectional anatomy and 3-D imaging
- Handle IV insertions
- Adapt to stressful situations while manipulating equipment and transporting patients
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, with completion of an accredited Radiologic or MRI Technologist Program
- 1+ years of relevant experience or a bachelor's degree
- Certifications include ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT 1 Advanced registry
Skills & Knowledge
