The Senior MRI Technologist performs advanced MRI procedures, ensuring patient safety, high-quality imaging, and departmental compliance. They train and mentor staff, fellows, residents, and students in MRI techniques, while managing equipment, inventory, and quality assurance tasks. The role includes providing leadership support, overseeing clinical operations, and implementing process improvements. They create a supportive environment by explaining procedures clearly and responding empathetically to patient needs. Qualifications Associate’s Degree in Allied Health (Bachelor’s preferred) Minimum of 3 years MRI technologist experience ARRT MRI registration and certification (current) BLS certification Preferred: MA Radiologic Technologist license for MRI Key Skills Technical proficiency in MRI procedures Strong interpersonal and mentorship abilities Equipment management and quality assurance Leadership and operational support New hires may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000.
