Job Responsibilities

  • Possess consultative presentation and solution-based selling skills
  • Identify modernization opportunities and develop long-term strategies for existing accounts
  • Conduct regular customer meetings and site visits to assess equipment condition and discuss modernization planning
  • Partner with operations, engineering, and project management teams to ensure successful delivery of modernization projects
  • Meet aggressive modernization sales and revenue growth targets within assigned territory
  • Qualify and pursue new customer leads to generate modernization opportunities
  • Analyze equipment lifecycle, code compliance, performance issues, and market conditions to recommend tailored modernization solutions
  • Develop a strong understanding of modernization products, systems, and technologies through collaboration with operations and sales leadership
  • Create modernization proposals, equipment assessments, project scopes, and customer presentations with a focus on value, reliability, and return on investment
  • Maintain accurate opportunity tracking, pipeline management, and forecasting within Metro's sales tools

Qualifications

  • Ability to work dynamically and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to build relationships internally and externally
  • Goal-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or related field
  • A minimum of two (2) years of successful industry sales experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Knowledge of the elevator industry
