Job Summary Senior Mobile Developer (Android) Position: Senior Mobile Developer (Android) Local candidates only Location: Hybrid, Miami, FL (4 days onsite per week) Duration: Contract-to-Hire (CTH) Required Skills 7+ years of professional Android development experience Expert-level proficiency in Kotlin; strong Java skills Extensive experience with Android SDK and modern development frameworks Hands-on expertise with Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Flow, Navigation Components, and Android Jetpack libraries Strong knowledge of MVVM, MVI, or Clean Architecture patterns Experience with Retrofit, OkHttp, Room Database, Hilt, Dagger, and RESTful APIs Proven mentoring, coaching, or technical leadership experience with junior developers Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin and Java Lead technical discussions, architecture decisions, and solution design Mentor and coach junior developers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical guidance Collaborate with Product Owners, UX/UI designers, QA, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality mobile solutions Build modern Android applications utilizing Jetpack Compose and Android Jetpack libraries Develop scalable solutions using MVVM, MVI, or Clean Architecture principles Integrate REST APIs, third-party SDKs, analytics platforms, and cloud services Drive performance optimization, application stability, security, and maintainability Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and technical roadmap discussions Contribute to CI/CD processes, automated testing strategies, and release management
