The Senior Microsoft 365 Cloud Specialist (ABMC) role is based in the United States and offers significant autonomy and leadership opportunities in a highly secure and mission-critical environment.

Accountabilities

  • Serve as the technical lead for enterprise Microsoft cloud environments, overseeing administration, optimization, and governance across Microsoft 365, Azure, and Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Manage and enhance core services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Intune, Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, and related Azure services.
  • Develop and mature data governance and compliance frameworks through Microsoft Purview, including retention policies, records management, automated classifications, and data labeling strategies.
  • Conduct comprehensive tenant health assessments and align cloud configurations with federal cybersecurity standards, directives, and best practices.
  • Support Microsoft 365 Copilot governance initiatives by assessing data exposure risks, dependencies, and security implications.
  • Lead troubleshooting and resolution efforts for high-priority incidents, ensuring accurate documentation and timely remediation.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation, architecture reviews, system health reports, and integration planning materials.

Requirements

  • Extensive hands-on experience managing Microsoft 365 services, Azure infrastructure, Microsoft Entra ID, endpoint management, and enterprise cloud security environments.
  • Possession of at least one current Microsoft 365 or Azure administration certification and one Microsoft security or identity certification.
  • Strong expertise in cloud governance, compliance, identity management, and security posture enhancement.
  • Experience with Microsoft Purview, security monitoring tools, incident response processes, and enterprise-scale tenant administration.
  • Familiarity with federal cybersecurity frameworks and regulated environments is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities with the ability to manage complex technical issues independently.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Must be U.S.-based, preferably on the East Coast, and eligible to obtain and maintain a Federal Background Check (Tier 1 Suitability).
