About the role
Position is Full time, 0.9 FTE, Variable shift, 36 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric risk assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning and implementation, and crisis intervention to patients and families in both the Medical and Psychiatric Emergency Departments.
- Serve as a member of the emergency/acute care clinical team.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Social Work or other related field. Or, Ph.D in Psychology or other related field.
- Upon hire: Alaska Masters Social Worker License. Or, Upon hire: Alaska Clinical Social Worker License. Or, Upon hire: Alaska Psychologist License. Or, Upon hire: Alaska Marriage and Family Therapist License. Or, Upon hire: Alaska Professional Counselor License
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
- 3 years Clinical experience in the mental health field.

Pay
The base pay range is $40.11 – $62.27 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
