The Senior Medical Writer proactively executes medical communication and healthcare consultancy projects, ensuring alignment to client objectives and overall brand/medical strategy, serves as a key scientific contact for internal teams and clients, acts as a therapy‑area and capability expert focused on generating content, can serve as a project‑level mentor for less experienced team members, and contributes to business development from organic and new‑client perspectives with a focus on primary research supporting the broader team.
Responsibilities
- Independently drive content development for dedicated accounts.
- Produce slide decks, meeting reports and summaries.
- Deliver well‑written materials that are scientifically and technically accurate for review.
- Create project content of the highest quality, technically accurate, and aligned with the goals and objectives of the project brief.
- Support execution of a wide range of projects across teams and therapeutic areas.
- Communicate regularly and clearly with internal cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Provide project‑level mentorship as appropriate to less experienced team members.
Qualifications
- Advanced scientific degree (PhD, PharmD, MD).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the medical communications industry.
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook).
