Senior Medical Laboratory Scientist - Microbiology Setup and Urinalysis

About the role

The Sr. Laboratory Scientist will be responsible for performing laboratory testing and interpreting test results using scientific knowledge and principles of test procedures and disease processes. They will recommend contingency testing, develop, maintain, and manage daily technical operations, including staff training and education, implementation of instrumentation, and accreditation readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in medical technology or Biology/Chemical Science
• ASCP or AMT certification
• 3 years of experience
• Microbiology experience

• Experience in a clinical laboratory setting
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
