Senior Medical Director, Population Health - Remote

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Medical Director, Population Health to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will provide clinical leadership across population health and care management initiatives, helping shape programs that improve outcomes for diverse member populations. The position will guide evidence-based criteria, support the design of clinically effective solutions, and partner closely with internal teams, clients, providers, and other stakeholders. It is well suited for a physician leader who can combine hands-on clinical expertise with strong analytical judgment and enterprise influence in a healthcare delivery environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $292,300 – $438,500 annually Responsibilities Lead a multidisciplinary clinical sciences team to establish and manage clinical criteria for Centers of Excellence Provide clinical expertise in designing and refining population health and care-management programs Use data to identify and prioritize populations for targeted interventions Evaluate and develop products and partnerships for clinical effectiveness and feasibility Represent the clinical perspective with clients, providers, and stakeholders Qualifications MD or DO with an active, unrestricted medical license and current ABMS or AOBS board certification 5+ years of clinical leadership experience, including managing teams 3+ years of clinical practice experience post-residency 3+ years of experience in population health or related healthcare delivery work Experience within health plans or healthcare delivery organizations Solid analytical skills to evaluate clinical evidence and data Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence across teams Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed Benefits Comprehensive benefits package Incentive and recognition programs Equity stock purchase options 401k contribution Flexible remote work options Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
