Senior Medical Director, Digital Innovation

About the Role

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Medical Director Digital Innovation to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will support clinical priorities focused on quality, patient-centered outcomes, and effective care delivery. You will collaborate with clinical leaders, operational teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve standards, workflows, and execution. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen care quality, team performance, and measurable outcomes within a healthcare environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Lead company's member-facing clinical AI portfolio aimed at improving health outcomes
• Develop clinical AI product roadmap in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Establish criteria for clinical acceptability and AI vendor review
• Define measures for clinical performance and monitor implementation
• Identify and address risks associated with AI deployment
• Guide omni-channel digital outreach campaigns to encourage member engagement
• Promote AI integration within clinical workflows to enhance care delivery

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with active medical license in at least one U.S. state
• Board Certification with Maintenance of Certification in a medical specialty
• Minimum 5 years of experience in health care technology or digital health with a focus on clinical AI
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML applications in health care, including NLP and predictive modeling
• Strong executive communication skills and stakeholder management across diverse groups
• Ability to translate clinical needs into technical solutions
• Willingness to work virtually with some travel required (up to 15%)

Compensation: $184,112 – $396,550 annually
