About the role
Works under the direction of the Nursing Supervisor, Clinic Manager or appropriate staff to provide basic patient care to assigned patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care to assigned patients
- May assist with administrative tasks such as medical office paperwork including billing, coding and medical terminology
Requirements
- Graduate of certified medical assistant program
- Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- 1 year of related experience in the medical field
- General experience regarding medical office paperwork required; including billing, coding and medical terminology
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree - Associate Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school with emphasis in Health Care
