Responsibilities

  • Perform field investigations and interface with clients & vendors.
  • Size and select HVAC equipment and prepare construction design packages.
  • Be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks while aligning with client expectations, scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Work with a multi-discipline, highly interactive team to meet client needs.
  • Lay out and design HVAC systems.
  • Develop conceptual and preliminary design documents, including calculations for system sizing and selection, Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs), Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and general arrangements.
  • Develop final construction documents for systems such as chilled water and cooling water.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines.

Requirements

  • At least ten (10) years’ experience in the design of HVAC systems for industrial facilities.
  • Proficiency in Revit.
  • Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to the design of HVAC systems.
  • Adaptability to work within a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate with the project team remotely.

Qualifications

  • Software experience in AutoCAD, Carrier HAP, Trane Trace 700, and Trane Trace 3D.
  • Experience in the design of plumbing/utility systems.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $102,900.00 to $150,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
