Senior Mechanical Engineer - R&D

What You Will Do

• Creative problem solving
• Advance package techniques
• Thermal Analysis and modeling
• Prototyping and validation
• DFM techniques and best practices
• Finite Element Method (FEM)
• Mechanical lead on design of Switching Mode Power Supplies as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Design for Manufacturability
• Participate in design reviews
• Generate high quality and complete engineering drawings complying with the industry standards
• Support other mechanical designers/engineers when necessary
• Provide regular progress reports to department and program managers
• Cookordination with all relevant internal departments for on-time project completion

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years of experience
• Proficient with CAD software packages (ProE/Creo preferred, 2D CAD software experience a +)
• Experience in material selection and manufacturing processes
• Strong communication skills
• Experience in sheet metal fabrication
• Experience with machine parts
• Experience with 3D printing

Pay

Salary Range: $110,000-$135,000
