Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of innovative mechanical systems and products, utilizing expertise in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
  • Oversee the entire product development process, from initial concept to final production, ensuring projects are completed within set timelines and budget.
  • Implement and improve manufacturing processes to optimize production efficiency, utilizing lean manufacturing principles.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of mechanical systems and products to ensure they meet all necessary requirements and standards.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and quality assurance, to ensure successful project execution.
  • Utilize Six Sigma methodologies to identify and eliminate defects and improve overall product quality.
  • Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, specifically within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience with product development, manufacturing processes, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, engineering design, and machine design.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and develop innovative solutions.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and inspire team members.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Keen attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay

$100,000 - $130,000 per year
