Our team combines deep technical expertise with hands-on innovation to solve complex mechanical challenges and build reliable, high-performance systems that operate in demanding environments. We are expanding our engineering presence in the Minneapolis–St. Paul region and are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer who thrives in a fully on-site, collaborative setting.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Design & Development — Engineer mobile mechanical systems including hydraulic equipment, lifting systems, and field-service machinery.
Performance Optimization — Improve reliability, efficiency, and durability for harsh operating conditions.
CAD Modeling — Create detailed CAD models and drawings using Inventor (preferred), Pro-E, or SolidWorks.
Prototype & Validation — Test, refine, and validate equipment to meet API, ASME, and internal quality standards.
Troubleshooting — Diagnose field issues, reduce downtime, and drive continuous improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration — Work closely with design, manufacturing, and field teams to deliver robust, field-ready solutions.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
5+ years of mechanical design experience in oil & gas or heavy industrial equipment.
Proficiency in Inventor, Pro-E, or SolidWorks.
Strong understanding of hydraulic systems, power units, and mechanical assemblies.
Proven ability to manage projects from concept through deployment.
Excellent communication, documentation, and technical reporting skills.
Work Environment
100% On-Site at our Minneapolis–St. Paul engineering facility.
Collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering teams, fabricators, and field technicians.
Occasional travel (~10%) to customer sites and fabrication partners.
