Senior Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities
- Integrate newly designed products into the manufacturing area.
- Assist in training plant personnel in the assembly of new products.
- Work with the team to seamlessly integrate new product concepts into the manufacturing process by providing direct engineering support.
- Utilize robust project management tools to enable effective product launch through all phases of product development and integration.
- Interface with customers and suppliers to develop working knowledge of products and processes, and apply that knowledge to assist in evolving design concepts into marketable products tailored to specific customer needs.
- Support company profit goals by demonstrating sound engineering methods to improve designs for better material utilization or manufacturing throughput.
- Use CAD software and company ERP system proficiently.
- Provide direct project support for new projects, meeting all customer and internal timelines through effective use of engineering and project management tools.
- Perform other related tasks assigned by the Engineering Manager.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience with mechanical systems and lean manufacturing.
