Senior Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Designing mechanical systems for ULT freezers and cold storage platforms.
• Developing specifications, test plans, and ensuring systems meet customer, performance, and regulatory requirements.
• Using simulation and modeling tools to optimize system performance, energy efficiency, and structural integrity.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support product development, manufacturing, and compliance efforts.
• Contributing to technology roadmaps and ensuring traceability and regulatory compliance (UL, IEC, FDA, CE, CSA, Energy Star).
• Engaging in continuous improvement practices within a safety-conscious culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in mechanical or related engineering discipline; Master’s preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical systems development, particularly in low-temperature applications.
• Proficiency with CAD (SolidWorks), FEA, data analysis, and simulation tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-team collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of refrigeration, HVAC, and regulatory standards.
