Senior Mechanical Engineer
About the role
We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This role plays a crucial part in designing the critical infrastructure that supports the digital age and shapes the spaces where people work, connect, and thrive.
Responsibilities
- Cook up the work of Mechanical Engineers with the balance of a multidiscipline team throughout the entire project's development
- Build strong client relationships and participate in the marketing, design, and production meetings regarding mechanical systems
- Take charge of the mechanical lead on many projects
- Join in reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance
- Do schematic, design development, and contract document work sessions at project sites in conjunction with the Project Manager, Project Architect, and other disciplines
- Divide the workload through the entire project development to finish documents on time
- Track the financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust the work efforts with the team to ensure that the work is completed within the agreed-upon schedule
- Participate in project reviews with corporate management as needed
- Handle other duties as needed
Requirements
- Master's degree in Architectural Engineering with Mechanical emphasis, Healthcare, Science and Technology, or Civic facilities experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- A minimum of 10 years in mechanical system design of commercial or institutional buildings
- Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, MS Project, and AutoCAD
- Demonstrated leadership skills, previous team coordination, and project management experience
- Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
