Senior Mechanical Engineer

Work environment: Approximately 80% production floor; high-temperature, high-noise environment with heavy machinery.
Responsibilities
- Manage capital projects up to $5M from design through commissioning
- Develop and manage drawings using AutoCAD Mechanical, Inventor, and Vault
- Lead machine FAT, startup, and commissioning activities
- Create/manage BOMs and spare-parts requirements
- Perform equipment/project risk assessments and implement safety measures
- Manage vendors and external contractors
- Provide mechanical engineering support and drive continuous improvement
Requirements
- Capital project management experience up to $5M
- Autodesk Inventor 3D modeling and Autodesk Vault experience
- Machine FAT and commissioning experience
- Heavy industrial plant engineering background
- BOM management experience
- Equipment risk assessment experience
- External contractor management experience
Pay
Salary: $100,000 – $130,000 per year. Bonus: 10% target annually.
