Responsibilities

  • Conduct reviews on program portfolio to evaluate and/or recommend alternative plans, improve systems engineering programs/processes, manage/sustain program technical baseline, and design/perform system-level tests to assure subsystem and system performance aligns with approved specifications.
  • Perform program reviews to evaluate proposed plans, systems engineering programs, design, and test results to ensure subsystem and system performance meets program specifications.
  • Prepare technical documents defining, specifying, and recommending system/subsystem characteristics, including management reports and technical presentations for planning, implementation, and corrective action using engineering economy principles.
  • Perform validation of systems, including development of criteria and procedures, and analyze/evaluate results of major engineering systems.
  • Provide system/program engineering, technical support, and technical training for acquisition, development, integration, sustainment, evolution, deployment/fielding, installation, and operations oversight.
  • Provide engineering support and inputs to program and project risk management activities in compliance with Air Force SEAM processes.
  • Perform problem/gap definition, trade space analysis, science and technology roadmap analysis, “Set-based design” for concept development, Multi-Objective Decision Analysis (MODA), and cost versus capability trade-off analysis.
  • Implement Digital Engineering, Digital Thread, and Digital Twin techniques across the system lifecycle.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a technical engineering role.
  • Ability to integrate with other organizations/teams.
  • Ability to develop highly effective working relationships with customers.
