Senior Mechanical Assembler

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Assembler to join our team. This candidate will be trained to mechanically assemble products for COTS, military, and aerospace applications, ensuring the quality and reliability of the final product.
Responsibilities
- Rotate through multiple stations on a shift to ensure maximum alertness and preparation.
- Proficiently read blueprints and verify parts required prior to assembly.
- Double-check connections, glue, conformal coating, and any special processes to ensure quality; record any discrepancies.
- Inform supervisors of any discrepancies, part defects, or equipment defects to ensure prompt resolution.
- Demonstrate proficiency using various tools, instrumentation, and calibration equipment.
- Communicate with other stations on the assembly line to ensure maximum speed and accuracy of product movement.
- Maintain and service all equipment as necessary.
- Conserve resources and supplies to minimize waste.
- Assemble components accurately, thoroughly, and quickly to approved specifications.
- Maintain awareness of ESD and FOD requirements for assembly.
- Cross-train with other stations to improve the movement of the final product.
- Coordinate with supervisors to ensure on-time delivery to customers.
- Implement ideas and provide feedback to maintain quality and rapid product movement.
- Monitor for kit shortages and notify supervisors of deficiencies that could affect product delivery.
- Demonstrate proficiency with product and mechanical requirements.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in general mechanical assembly work or specialized training.
- Basic working knowledge of electricity.
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

- Ability to commit to a flexible schedule and prompt arrival for shifts.
- Experience with power and hand tools.
- Basic computer and arithmetic skills.
- Strong communication skills.
