Senior Material Handler

Nature of Duties

• Process & file shipping documents
• Ensure the accuracy of all shipping documents
• This very visible position must be able to work with all employees at all levels
• This position will require a great deal of focus on detail, be very organized
• Must have communication skills both written and verbally with customer and carriers as required
• Gather and maintain all data and records relative to shipping activities
• Assure orders and shipping quantities match picking list/invoice documents
• Brings attention to any discrepancies in paperwork or damaged equipment or parts
• Absorb and resolve any discrepancies and other tasks as required
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• Ability to learn the duties assigned and perform them adequately
• Fork Lift Experience required
• Driving company van for deliveries
• International shipping experience a plus

Requirements

• Knowledge of Data Entry
• High School education required
• Valid driver’s license
• PC Skills Required: MS Office, Excel and Word
• One year job-related experience desired
