Skill Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Proficient computer skills, including proficiency with SAP, MES, or similar systems
  • Previous experience using motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment
  • Previous experience using forklifts, including forktruck certification and experience
  • Experience handling materials in a government-regulated environment and/or in a GMP or SOP-driven environment
  • Previous warehouse experience
  • At least 2 years of primary forktruck responsibility, including racking and stacking materials
  • Experience with Microsoft software
  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams including Quality Assurance, Engineering, suppliers, and external delivery personnel

Responsibilities

  • Perform necessary tasks in Myerstown site warehouse operations to coordinate the movement of high-quality materials and products on time and in the right quantities
  • Ensure a safe work environment by following all safety and ergonomic rules, including required personal protective equipment (PPE) and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for specific processes and areas
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area and participate in safety improvement projects
  • Support operations across three on-site warehouses to meet production demands and maintain production priorities by following the site-wide production schedule and communicating material concerns to supervision
  • Operate forklifts, including stand-up and sit-down units, and required attachments such as pull-pack, clamp, drum clamp, and inverter equipment
  • Operate warehouse equipment including high-density, fixed, and flow racking, battery charging units, wrapping machines, dock plates, and scales
  • Perform receiving, storing, and shipping tasks in accordance with SOPs, including inspecting materials for damage, verifying counts, ensuring cleanliness in compliance with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), matching documentation to received materials, verifying materials against shipping orders, and preparing shipping and scrap orders
  • Accurately complete, maintain, and update electronic and paper documentation related to material movement tasks
  • Pick orders for raw and packaging materials to supply production departments
  • Review and verify team members’ paperwork as needed
  • Provide support to the Quality Assurance department, including sample rooms and retesting activities
  • Pull materials for write-offs
  • Load landfill and recycling trailers
  • Ensure appropriate handling, storage, and response procedures for hazardous and sensitive materials
  • Complete all required electronic and paper documentation associated with each task, including attaching pictures when required, and complete safety observations, quality observations, training documentation, process improvement records, and work orders, while attending scheduled departmental meetings
  • Submit work orders as needed to maintain warehouse equipment and repair racks
  • Cook up with work with external contractors and vendors as directed by supervision
  • Help build a team-oriented culture and drive continuous process improvement by supporting and motivating team members, sharing knowledge, participating in training, and taking ownership of self-development and team development
  • Utilize automated inventory systems such as SAP to perform material movement and storage transactions, scrap transactions, reconciliation, SAP inventory cleanup, cycle counting, and empty bin reporting
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and records to support warehouse and production operations
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Pay & Benefits

  • Hourly rate between $23.32-$34.99
  • Additional compensation may include a bonus or incentive compensation (if relevant)
