About the role

DealMaker is a fast-growing fintech company revolutionizing the capital markets ecosystem with a mission to make online capital raising mainstream. We empower founders, CEOs, and operators to raise capital digitally, both from their own communities and through strategically marketed campaigns. Our end-to-end platform has powered over $2B raised across 1,000+ campaigns, including high-profile raises for EnergyX ($88M), Green Bay Packers ($65M), Miso Robotics ($72M+), and Monogram Orthopaedics (Nasdaq:MGRM), with 3 IPOs in the past year alone. We are expanding rapidly and seeking a Senior Marketing Strategist to join our team and help transform the global capital market.

Responsibilities

  • Own complex campaigns end to end, from strategy through close, with full accountability for capital raised and client satisfaction across your largest accounts.
  • Set strategic direction by developing marketing plans and funnel strategies for high-stakes campaigns, making the call on channel mix, budget allocation, and testing priorities.
  • Analyze performance across your portfolio continuously, diagnosing underperformance quickly and acting on it with both speed and rigor.
  • Advise founders and executive stakeholders as their trusted strategic partner, including through escalations, renegotiations, and campaign resets.
  • Mentor Client Strategists on funnel strategy, client communication, and problem-solving, sharing patterns and playbooks that raise the bar across the team.
  • Manage escalation and risk by stepping into off-track accounts, diagnosing root causes, and rebuilding a credible path to a successful outcome.
  • Lead cross-functionally by partnering with Paid Media, Creative, Partnerships, and Account Management to keep execution aligned with strategy and flagging process gaps that need fixing.
  • Report results and next steps clearly to clients and internal leadership, demonstrating impact on capital raised and campaign KPIs.

Requirements

  • Experience in digital marketing, client services, or a related field, with a track record of owning client relationships independently.
  • Deep expertise across digital marketing channels (paid media, email, partnerships) including campaign strategy, execution, and optimization.
  • Strong analytical skills, with proven ability to use data to diagnose problems and drive decisions under time pressure.
  • Excellent client-facing communication skills, including experience navigating high-stakes or difficult conversations.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor or informally lead less experienced team members.
  • Comfort operating with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools.
  • Proactive use of AI tools to improve workflows and enhance team efficiency.

Schedule

This is a hybrid role based in either New York (3 days in-office at 23rd Street) or Los Angeles (3 days in-office in the Culver City area). The role requires strong overlap with Mountain Standard Time (MST) working hours to support team collaboration.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation with the opportunity to earn equity.
  • Shared employee benefit plan (medical, vision, & dental).
  • Annual learning support.
  • Access to AI tools to build innovative solutions.
  • Work with a diverse and distributed team of doers, innovators, and experts.
