About the Role

Orange Barrel Media (OBM) is looking for a gifted storyteller and creative marketer to join our Client & Creative Services (CCS) team. This person will translate complex ideas from our real‑estate‑focused Development team and out‑of‑home (OOH) media Sales team into clear, compelling decks and presentation materials. The role supports marketing efforts across the company, with a primary focus on partnering with our Creative Director to bring OBM’s unique offerings and market narratives to life through bespoke materials that win over landlords, municipal and community stakeholders, and advertising partners. The incumbent will work closely with the Creative Director, Associate Creative Director, and design team, and collaborate with stakeholders across the company to ensure every deck is grounded in the right information and told in the right voice for its intended audience.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Development team to translate new site opportunities, existing brand stories, case studies, market data, and OOH value propositions into persuasive decks for landlords, municipalities, zoning and community boards, and other external stakeholders.
  • Serve as a storyteller for high‑stakes presentations, including core marketing materials, sales pitch decks, market overviews, case studies and testimonials, video projects, and leadership presentations.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Director, Associate Creative Director, and graphic design team to brief projects, provide content direction, and ensure copywriting and creative vision are paired with strong graphic design.
  • Translate data and analysis from the Data & Insights team into clear, audience‑appropriate narratives.
  • Build and maintain reusable content frameworks and messaging toolkits for recurring marketing materials to increase consistency, quality, and speed across the team.
  • Manage multiple concurrent requests, setting priorities and timelines in partnership with the Creative Director and requesting teams across Sales and Development.
  • Champion brand voice, tone, and visual consistency across all external and internal marketing materials with support from the creative team.

Requirements

  • Self‑motivated, proactive approach with ability to seek solutions, remove roadblocks, and ask for support when needed.
  • Exceptional writing and storytelling skills; ability to shape a clear narrative arc from dense or technical information and tailor it to the intended audience.
  • Strong understanding of information design and visual sequencing of a story.
  • Experience translating operational, technical, or data‑heavy information (e.g., real estate, market data, research) into persuasive materials.
  • Track record of managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously without sacrificing quality or missing deadlines.
  • Comfort working cross‑functionally with Development, Sales, Creative, and Data & Insights teams, adjusting tone for executives, landlords, municipal officials, community members, national brands, and advertising agency teams.
  • Portfolio or work samples that showcase strong presentation and storytelling craft.
  • Experience presenting to or preparing materials for external stakeholders.
  • Strong proficiency in presentation software, including Canva, PowerPoint, and Google Slides.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator) for light design collaboration.
  • Experience in out‑of‑home, media, advertising, or real estate is a plus.
