Senior Marketing Manager
About the role
Dow has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Marketing Manager located in Midland, MI, Collegeville, PA, Marietta, GA, or Houston, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for the construction segment’s overall strategy for North America, including the development and implementation of Marketing Plans for various applications, the sustainability narrative, promotional strategy, and alignment with the global construction segment growth strategy. You will be responsible for the growth pipeline and will co-own the innovation pipeline with TS&D, leading the innovation and business model funnel assessment to ensure alignment with long-term market strategy and growth expectations. Additionally, you will provide market insights in terms of trends and identify new opportunities for growth, both short-term and long-term.
Responsibilities
- Own the entire portfolio and influence a large matrix of sales, product, supply chain, R&D, TS&D, and business leadership stakeholders to achieve growth initiatives and execute the Imagine Building Better growth strategy.
- Work with Sales, TS&D, and R&D to deliver market share gains with new customers, existing customers, and key growth partners in target segments.
- Act as a key commercial representative along with all internal stakeholders at the customer interface.
- Collaborate to develop strategic growth Account Plans for key and priority DCC customers aligned with business growth strategy.
- Lead the commercialization and launching of new technologies, including development, value-based pricing, execution of launch plans, support materials, and training for sales.
- Understand market sizing, dynamics, competitive intelligence, customer dynamics, and the digital customer journey to create an effective growth plan.
- Leverage digital insights, tools, and promotion, with an interest in data and analytics to track and manage leads and opportunities and assess the strengths of marketing tactics.
- Drive prioritization and implementation of the marketing communications plan with Business Communications.
- Support capital projects to de-risk commercial aspects and ensure customer acceptance and qualification.
- Guide prioritization of projects within the MMT and PMT teams by developing strong business cases and evaluating trade-offs within the portfolio.
Qualifications
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree or relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E5 or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant ranking.
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant working experience.
- Ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship or support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.
