Location: Richmond, Virginia (Onsite) • Job ID: 3056391

About the role

This role owns measurement, analysis, and causal inference responsibilities within the search space. The position involves rigorously testing whether a result is caused by paid search, not just correlated with it, to drive data-backed strategy and decision-making. You will be an embedded member of the team, working with a provided laptop and systems access for the duration of the assignment.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute incrementality tests, holdout experiments, and pre/post analyses to isolate the true impact of paid search spend.
  • Maintain data foundations, applying quality assurance as needed to ensure a clean, trusted view of channel performance.
  • Manage ad code structure and hygiene to ensure accurate tracking and attribution across campaigns.
  • Own budget management input through monthly mROI curve builds, translating diminishing-returns analysis into budget recommendations.
  • Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analyses and specific recommendations.
  • Contribute directly to portfolio-level budget allocation and channel strategy conversations.
  • Support performance monitoring by independently validating analysis and reporting.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years in an analytical role such as marketing analytics, media analytics, or another data-rich performance marketing environment. A track record of turning ambiguous data into a specific, actionable recommendation and communicating it clearly to both analysts and executives is required.
  • Technical skills: Strong SQL and Python (pandas) skills for querying, transforming, and modeling large datasets. Applied experience designing experiments, including hypothesis testing, significance, and power analysis. Experience building and maintaining reports or dashboards in a BI tool (Tableau, Looker, or similar) is also required.
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (such as statistics, economics, math, or marketing analytics) or equivalent practical experience is required.

Qualifications

  • Experience with paid search or bid management platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, SA360).
  • Familiarity with incrementality testing, media mix modeling, or multi-touch attribution.
  • Experience using GenAI tools to speed up analysis or automate reporting.

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and other insurance plans offering an optional layer of financial protection.
  • Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP).
  • 401(k) program with eligibility typically within 30 days of starting; company match after 12 months of tenure.
  • Health Savings Account (HSA) on the HDHP plan.
  • SupportLinc Employee Assistance Program (EAP) with up to 8 free counseling sessions.
  • Corporate discount savings program and other discounts.
  • On-demand training program; access to certification prep and a library of technical and leadership courses, books, and seminars after 6+ months of tenure.
  • Certification discounts and perks for associations including CompTIA and IIBA.
  • Dedicated customer service team for consultants addressing benefits and resource questions.
  • Certified Career Coach.
  • Comprehensive Welcome Packet with full list of benefits, programs, support teams, and resources.
