About the Role

The Consumer Bank Checking Acquisition & Marketing Analytics team is looking for a Senior Analyst to play a pivotal role in driving new consumer household and checking portfolio growth. This is a hands-on role for someone developing their career in business analytics who is eager to learn and ready for marketing campaign and forecast ownership. This Senior Analyst will own segmentation, forecasting, and reporting for a variety of Direct Mail campaigns aimed at booking new customers and deepening existing relationships. They will also play a critical role in building out new strategies unlocked by new technology, like Pre-Approval campaigns and personalized pricing tests. The ideal candidate is proficient in SQL, has experience building dashboards for reporting, is detail-oriented, and dependable under tight timelines. This person must be comfortable asking challenging questions, double-checking their work and the work of teammates, and sense-checking existing strategies. This team rewards curiosity, reliability, and the ability to juggle a series of requests without dropping the ball. Responsibilities

  • Draws marketing strategies and/or insights from analysis, tests hypotheses, and recommends strategy based on insights
  • Develops strong business/financial knowledge; understands client’s strategy, knows competition, and how business works
  • Demonstrates strong writing skills and creativity in articulating messages that support recommendations
  • Develops presentations and tailors messages as needed for line-of-business clients
  • Builds relationships with mid to senior-level management and cross-functional teams
  • Influences through analytical insights, business acumen, and line-of-business knowledge
  • Provides timely and effective communication to team members to ensure awareness and commitment to defined marketing initiatives
  • Coordinates with internal and external business partners including line-of-business partners, analytics, creative services, agencies, compliance, and leadership to support development and execution of an effective marketing plan
  • Follows established marketing processes and manages risks effectively
  • Recognizes and escalates potential risks; maintains a handle on all team control procedures, testing, and processes where applicable
  • Maintains internal policies and procedures, including updating and drafting training materials as needed
  • Uses knowledge of marketing principles to provide recommendations on tactics to achieve both marketing and business objectives
  • Assists with designing marketing plans and execution tactics for assigned product line(s)/segment(s) while adhering to established procedures
  • Builds campaign files, develops and maintains critical reporting dashboards, and supports audience segmentation strategy
  • Contributes to marketing spend forecasts
  • Performs other duties as assigned; duties, responsibilities, and/or activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business, or related field or equivalent work experience (required)
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of traditional and digital creative marketing development process
  • Demonstrated understanding of banking products and segment needs
  • Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects at once and prioritize delivery based on key objectives
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • Experience building dashboards for reporting

Pay

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $71,000.00 - $125,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.

Schedule

  • Hybrid (3+ days in-office)
  • General office environment with prolonged sitting, frequent use of PC/laptop, and occasional lifting/pushing/pulling of backpacks or computer bags up to 10 lbs.
