Senior Market Development Team Leader - Direct Auto

About the role
This position manages and directs a team of marketing team members, including Marketing Development Managers, to develop and execute regional marketing strategies that drive sales and growth. The role oversees Retail Sales regional marketing plans, local marketing budgets, and tracks ROI of marketing spend. This position operates within a matrix reporting structure supporting the entire Retail Sales footprint.
Responsibilities
- Build and lead geographically diverse teams across multiple regions.
- Oversee production of monthly marketing communications and share best practices across regions.
- Make strategic recommendations to Regional leadership for marketing spend based on ROI data.
- Track and report on event results, continuously building a list of high-ROI events.
- Manage key vendor relationships, including print, promo, gift cards, and business partners.
- Manage advertising/marketing spend to budget and provide oversight and reporting on funds allocation.
- Complete routine sales and marketing reports, progress calls, and meetings with Regional leaders.
- Perform daily administration and supervision of Marketing Development Managers (MDMs), driving results, executing regional marketing plans, and identifying growth opportunities.
- Maintain accountability for MDMs' performance, results, and ROI on marketing spend.
- Work with MDMs to develop local marketing strategies and tactics supporting sales objectives throughout the year.
- Lead, motivate, and drive success through MDMs across Retail Sales.
Requirements
- 4-year Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5 or more years of relevant experience (preferred).

Pay
Compensation for this role is $70,540.00 - $96,985.00 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
