Senior Manufacturing Technician - Weekend Nights
As a Senior Manufacturing Technician at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a critical role in the manufacturing process by applying your advanced technical skills to assemble, test, and troubleshoot complex aerospace components. About the role
You will report directly to our Senior Production Supervisor and work out of our Plymouth, MN location on an on-site schedule during the Weekend Nights Shift (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 5 PM–5:30 AM). In this role, you will impact product quality and manufacturing efficiency, contributing directly to the production of aerospace systems that enhance safety and reliability in the aviation industry.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced assembly and testing of aerospace components following detailed procedures and blueprints.
- Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to implement process improvements and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation of manufacturing processes and test results.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Requirements
You must have:
- Proven experience in aerospace manufacturing or a related high-precision manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, assembly techniques, and quality control standards specific to aerospace components.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
- Experience with troubleshooting manufacturing equipment and resolving technical issues efficiently.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in an industrial manufacturing setting.
- U.S. Person status (U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or protected status under asylum/refugee status) due to compliance with U.S. export control laws.
We value:
- Associate degree or technical certification in manufacturing technology or a related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in aerospace or advanced manufacturing environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies (a plus).
Pay
The annual base salary range for this position is $61,400–$76,800 in Plymouth, MN. This salary information serves as a general guideline; Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including scope and responsibilities, candidate experience, education, key skills, and market/business considerations.

Weekend Nights Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 5 PM–5:30 AM (on-site in Plymouth, MN).
