Position
The Manufacturing Engineer role is responsible for preparing and supporting the AP2 factory for the Front Load Washer Program. In this role, the Manufacturing Engineer will develop, manage, and execute supporting documents, projects, and operational readiness related to the launch and production of the AP2 HA Washer Factory. The Manufacturing Engineer will act as a primary liaison for the AP2 factory and the development and support of equipment, tools, and operations. This position will primarily focus on the areas of Cabinet Fabrication and Assembly.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s of Science degree in mechanical / electrical / manufacturing engineering, business or scientific-related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ of relevant experience in an engineering role working with automated manufacturing equipment, processes, and production systems.
- Leadership experience or technical proficiency in areas such as manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, materials management, quality, procurement, or fulfillment.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering working with advanced automated manufacturing equipment, processes, and production systems.
- Experience leading or working with metal fabrication, component fastening, or automated equipment operations.
- Six Sigma certification preferred, with strong knowledge of Lean, DMAIC, and other improvement methodologies.
- Track record of driving results through analytical methods, project scheduling, and teamwork.
Working Conditions
- Working conditions are normal for both an office and manufacturing environments.
- Work may involve lifting materials and products up to 25 pounds.
- Working in the manufacturing environment requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, work shoes/boots.
- Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
- Will include walking and standing for extended periods, using stairs, cross-overs and ladders.
- Up to 30% of travel required for international and domestic travel to plants, suppliers, etc.
