Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to the production shop floor, troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions to minimize downtime.
- Analyze current manufacturing processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
- Design, select, and oversee the installation of new manufacturing equipment.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained and operating efficiently.
- Resolve obsolescence issues through the redesign of parts using current manufacturing technology.
- Facilitate the disposition of quality issues on both purchased and manufactured parts.
- Prepare and review technical packages including drawings, specifications, and procurement requirements.
- Provide technical input during the proposal process.
- Work as part of a cross-functional team including quality engineering, supply chain management, marketing, customer service, and the supplier base.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
- 4+ years of experience in an engineering role.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality control principles.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.
- SAP knowledge, especially production, requisitioning, and material master data management.
- Experience with writing technical requirements for the procurement of equipment and developing the input for these specifications.
Pay
The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $85,200.00 to $86,500.00 per year.
