Major Responsibilities
- Lead and project manage the development, design and validation of existing and new CNC manufacturing and assembly processes utilizing 3D solid-modeling advanced manufacturing methods, with a focus on employee safety, ergonomics, and lean concepts.
- Evaluate and troubleshoot process issues focused on improving SQDCI.
- Lead manufacturing cost reduction projects and collaborate with the cross-functional team to ensure machining and assembly processes are low risk for safety and quality, efficient and at low cost.
Qualifications
- Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in engineering. Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years in a lead role in the manufacturing environment. Proven record of successful launch as it relates to new process introduction and planning efficient manufacturing processes. Proven record of leading cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Technical Competency: Strong 3D CAD skills, at least 2,000 hours of experience on Solidworks. Strong drafting and GD&T skills with the ability to perform tolerance stack up analysis. Green Belt / Lean Manufacturing Certification desired.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of magnetic materials and applications a plus.
