Senior Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

The Senior Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of manufacturing processes and systems. They work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that products meet quality standards and are produced efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design and implementation of manufacturing processes and systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and efficiency
• Develop and maintain manufacturing equipment and machinery
• Conduct process improvements and implement new technologies
• Train and mentor team members in manufacturing techniques and procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering
• Proficient in CAD software and manufacturing process simulation tools
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Experience with lean manufacturing principles
• Knowledge of ISO and other quality management systems
• Ability to lead and manage projects from conception to completion
