Senior Manufacturing Engineer
About the Role
Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, time study, space requirements, soliciting observations from operators, and equipment layout. Design, develop, and improve manufacturing equipment using CAD software and other engineering tools. Lead the implementation of new equipment into the manufacturing process. Manage, execute, document, and support the line validation/qualification activities, including IQ, OQ, PQ, MSA, and generation of work instructions and control plans. Participate in Design for Assembly (DFA) / Design for Manufacturing (DFM) activities to verify manufacturability of Product Designs.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- 8+ years’ experience as a Manufacturing/Production Engineer, preferably in Medical Devices with a bachelor’s degree -OR- 6+ years’ experience with a master's degree.
- Leverage lean manufacturing experience with knowledge of lean manufacturing methods and procedures.
- Show strong knowledge of CAD software, electromechanical design, and other engineering tools.
- Have experience with Manufacturing Quality and Product Development.
Qualifications
- Minimum qualifications include 8+ years’ experience as a Manufacturing/Production Engineer, preferably in Medical Devices with a bachelor’s degree -OR- 6+ years’ experience with a master's degree.
- Preferred qualifications include Black Belt Certification, Master’s Degree, Knowledge of DFM/DFA.
Skills
- Lean manufacturing experience with knowledge of lean manufacturing methods and procedures.
- Strong knowledge of CAD software, electromechanical design, and other engineering tools.
- Experience with Manufacturing Quality and Product Development.
- Knowledge of DFM/DFA.
