Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Job Title: Senior Manufacturing Engineer Location: San Jose, CA Type: Contract Compensation: $70-77/hrResponsibilitiesSupport New Product development projects by leading and executing the purchase, assembly, installation, and testing of custom or off the shelf manufacturing equipment and fixtures.Develop custom inspection fixtures/equipment including mechanical setup, LabView software development, and machine learning.Author manufacturing work instructions, inspection procedures, attribute charts, PPAP documents.Create prints for components used for product repair.Coordinate and troubleshoot incoming inspection / FAI of product components.Set up manufacturing lines for product repair and inspection.Apply engineering knowledge independently to problem-solve technical and non-technical issues.RequirementsExperience with building and testing fixtures and equipment.Experience authoring manufacturing documents.Ability to efficiently manage multiple projects and support supporting manufacturing lines.Strong problem-solving skills (technical and non-technical).Fluent in reading prints (components, custom fixtures, etc.).Strong writing and documentation skills.Experience with assembly and testing of fixtures/equipment.Excellent communication skills.Strong organization skills.Preferred: LabVIEW or TestStand experience.Preferred: Medical device experience.Preferred: Bachelor of Science in engineering or equivalent.
