About the role
We are looking for a Senior Engineer reporting to an Engineering Team Lead.
Responsibilities
- Support production in a mixed model assembly environment
- Develop, implement, and improve assembly processes to meet cost, quality, and capacity requirements
- Specify, procure, validate, and implement tools, fixtures, and equipment
- Provide plant expertise in tool selection and error-proofing
- Apply lean manufacturing principles to improve operations
- Apply DMAIC methodology to identify root cause and implement permanent solutions
- Work closely with team leads and technicians to resolve problems
- Develop and maintain standard work instructions
- Implement engineering change notices
- Achieve manufacturing engineering milestones for New Product Development programs
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, or other technical 4-year degree
- 5+ years of relevant work experience
- Project management experience
- Understanding of lean manufacturing principles
- AutoCAD knowledge
- Experience with SAP
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite
- Willingness to travel (infrequently)
- Ability to multitask and set priorities
- Team player with excellent technical, communication, and interpersonal skills

Preferred qualifications
- Knowledge of General Logistics Management and Supply Chain is a plus
- Experience with Katia is preferred
