Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develops, designs, and communicates manufacturing processes.
• Maintains and revises processes to generate cost savings and improve product/process quality and efficiency.
• Initiates design reviews to enhance the capability to manufacture products.
• Responsible for the development of new processes, including researching current and emerging technologies, evaluating process cost, quality, and conducting process characterization and optimization studies using designed experiments, problem-solving, and decision-making tools.
• Identifies and solves equipment/process issues, troubleshoots possible causes, and coordinates activities among maintenance, production, and other resources to implement cost-effective solutions.
• Provides leadership and direction for new process installations and process changes.
• Plans, conducts, and supervises assignments.
• Reviews progress with management.
• Performs other projects and duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 5 years of related experience required.
• A high school diploma or equivalent required, a bachelor's degree preferred.
