About the Role

The Sr. Manager, Warehouse Operations is a critical leadership role within the Logistics and Warehouse Operations team and will be instrumental in driving overall warehouse team performance in support of production operations. Reporting directly to the Director, Logistics, this position requires hands-on support for multiple teams operating out of multiple facilities, and strong leadership to develop a culture of performance and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Directly manage warehouse teams for both Divergent and Czinger, supporting activities including additive manufacturing production, outbound transportation, lineside kitting for finished goods and vehicle builds, and overall warehouse management.
  • Support digital transformation efforts as the warehouse system subject matter expert, analyzing existing systems integrations to determine MVP path and enabling best-in-class systems.
  • Ensure accuracy of all transaction-based processes—receipts, issues, kitting, WIP movements, quality dispositions—and support monthly reconciliation with finance and accounting.
  • Evaluate and improve existing part lifecycle processes to meet quality, accuracy, and timing requirements.
  • Develop cycle count plan, generate reports, schedule counts, validate variances, and complete count adjustments.
  • Report and track material stock levels across all organizations and collaborate with purchasing and material planning to drive accuracy.
  • Drive continuous improvement in kitting processes to increase efficiency and accuracy in support of future growth and scale.
  • Work closely with the purchasing team to align systematic orders with physical receipts and drive reconciliation as needed.
  • Support warehouse expansion by evaluating future space requirements based on demand forecasts and existing inventory levels.
  • Provide hands-on support to teams as needed based on day-to-day demand.

Requirements

  • Ability to lead and inspire large warehouse teams.
  • Strong, professional communication skills for working with multiple cross-functional teams.
  • Advanced proficiency with systems and tools including Microsoft products (PowerBI, Power Automate, Excel), ERP/TMS/MES/QMS platforms (Oracle, SAP, third-party), Atlassian (Jira, Confluence), Smartsheet, and warehouse label creation/configuration tools.
  • Ability to develop and manage KPIs and metrics in support of supply effectiveness, time to replenish, kitting/picking completion rates, etc.
  • Experience and understanding of inventory management and production kitting processes.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in automotive, aerospace, or startup manufacturing environments.

Work Environment

  • Based in Torrance, CA and/or Long Beach, CA offices five days/week.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work in areas that are loud.

Pay

Pay Range: $147,940 USD - $203,420 USD
