Senior Manager VSA Accounting & Reporting

For our client, a leader in the Finance & Insurance space, we are seeking a Senior Manager of VSA Accounting & Reporting to support financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management initiatives that strengthen business visibility and decision-making. This role partners with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation, offering the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a regulated financial services environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage preparation and review of quarterly/annual statutory NAIC financial reports
• Oversee investment presentation in financial statements quarterly
• Support leadership analysis of business results for compliance
• Manage design and implementation of financial reporting controls
• Maintain effective control environment and mitigate compliance issues
• Research and propose new disclosures in response to accounting pronouncements
• Interpret new accounting guidelines for reporting implications

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• 7+ years of financial reporting experience required
• Public accounting or investment-related financial reporting experience
• Strong knowledge of U.S. Statutory (NAIC) and GAAP accounting principles
• CPA license preferred
• Advanced MS Office skills necessary
• 3-5 years of supervisory experience preferred
• Experience in investments strongly preferred

Pay

$105,700 – $149,275 annually
