Senior Manager - Virtual Sales
About the Role
This remote position oversees sales presentations generated from in-house owners and guests using screen-sharing technology. The Virtual Senior Sales Manager will assist agents with closing sales, recruiting, managing processes, and leading a team of virtual sales agents. The role involves personalizing the sales experience to individual owner needs, maintaining customer relationships post-sale, and developing future business opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and coach Sales Consultants and Sales Managers for continuous improvement.
- Manage remote, virtual sales agents with frequent interaction and personal production responsibilities.
- Assist sales executives with closing deals, site production, and handling sales in the absence of the Sales Director.
- Ensure all team members answer questions professionally and correctly.
- Achieve personal and departmental sales objectives.
- Execute and assist in Sales Training, including evaluating and coaching Sales Consultants.
- Conduct 1-1 coaching sessions, provide evaluations, and assign action plans for improvement.
- Perform demonstration and assessment call reviews with Sales Consultants.
- Conduct personal sales presentations as needed or scheduled.
- Lead daily/weekly team meetings and coordinate sales staff scheduling.
- Recruit, select, and hire sales consultants, and coach new hires to meet performance standards.
- Schedule and perform sales call reviews for Sales Consultants.
- Conduct performance appraisals and review sales performance against budgeted objectives.
- Review customer cancellations, resolve service challenges, and manage outstanding accounts.
- Act as liaison between all resort contacts and direct sales operation activities to meet objectives.
- Provide technology training to sales executives and relay department policies to the team.
- Enforce professional dress policies and participate in special projects as assigned.
- Support and implement company policies, mission, vision, and philosophies.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent; higher education encouraged.
- Five plus years of timeshare experience.
- Prior management experience preferred but not required.
- Verifiable sales management statistics.
- Bilingual skills helpful but not required.
- Strong technology skills, specifically Microsoft 365 and other virtual applications.
- Comfortable in a virtual environment and adept at tech problem-solving.
- Arizona Real Estate License or Nevada Timeshare License required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of three plus years of timeshare experience.
- Proven track record in timeshare sales and/or sales training.
- Process-oriented with strong attention to detail.
- Compelling leadership abilities and experience managing staff to meet sales and staffing requirements.
- Ability to manage and motivate team members while collaborating with Executive Management.
- Self-directed yet works effectively as a team player.
- Persuasive interpersonal skills to influence guests and co-workers.
- Excellent customer service, oral, and written communication skills.
- Strong administrative, organization, and planning skills.
- Mastery of interpersonal styles and methods to guide individuals toward goal achievement.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and enhancing personal knowledge and skills.
Schedule
Flexible schedule required to meet business operations, including potential travel. General schedule is Monday to Friday, with some Saturdays as needed. Hours: 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM PST.
