About the role

This role can be based anywhere in the US. Travel of 80%+ is required.

Operations Consulting

Sit at the centre of delivering large-scale transformation programmes for leading organizations across a range of asset-intensive and operationally complex industries.

Key accountabilities

• Lead consulting teams and manage delivery across multiple workstreams
• Build strong, trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders
• Identify operational risks and performance gaps and develop practical, value-focused solutions
• Ensure high-quality, timely, and impactful project delivery
• Coach, mentor, and develop consultants and managers
• Support account growth through proposals, opportunity shaping, and client engagement
• Contribute to capability development, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement across dss+

Who you are

• Bring strong analytical thinking, a curious mindset, and the ability to work effectively in diverse, international environments
• Comfortable engaging with stakeholders, solving complex problems, and contributing to meaningful outcomes

Experience

• Management consulting experience with exposure to operational risk, operational excellence, safety, or sustainability
• Proven experience leading complex engagements and managing teams
• Experience working in or with asset-intensive, operationally complex industries
• Experience building and managing senior client relationships

Capabilities

• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams in complex environments
• Commercial awareness and structured problem-solving capability
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Education and languages

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
• MBA or equivalent advanced degree beneficial
• Fluency in English required; additional languages beneficial
