About the role

VIZ Media is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Marketing Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have experience in marketing and communications, with a focus on social media management and campaign execution.

Responsibilities

  • Manage social media accounts for various VIZ Media properties, including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
  • Create and execute marketing campaigns across multiple platforms to promote VIZ Media’s products and events.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement marketing strategies that align with business goals.
  • Monitor social media analytics to track performance and make data-driven decisions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with influencers and partners to enhance brand visibility.
  • Assist in organizing and promoting VIZ Media events and conventions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing and/or communications.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and their analytics tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Google Analytics is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of SEO and SEM principles.
  • Experience with event planning and coordination.
  • Understanding of copyright laws and intellectual property rights.

Skills

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information.
  • Passion for manga, anime, and pop culture.
