Senior Manager, Sustainability, Health and Safety

What You'll Be Doing

• Develops and executes a 1-year business plan ensuring alignment with the overall corporate strategic plan and immediate manager’s business plan.
• Ensures consistent application of the Badger safety program across the organization, by SHS professionals, Badger employees and other stakeholders.
• Maintains a strong safety culture across the assigned area and throughout Badger.
• Adheres to and enacts applicable regulatory changes and communicates the appropriate changes to Badger personnel.
• Covers priority-based area visits across the organization to complete coaching, mentoring and trust.

What You'll Need For Success

• Undergraduate degree, Graduate degree preferred.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) Preferred.
• Knowledge of Federal, state, provincial and local safety, transportation, and environmental regulations.
• Knowledge of industry safety training.
• 10+ years’ experience preferred in the following Industries: - Vacuum, Pump Trucks, or Fleet Commercial Underground Construction and/or Utilities Oil and Gas Waste.

Pay

The compensation for this position ranges from $120,000-$160,000 based on education or work experience.

Schedule

The role requires mobility within work environments, use of office equipment, lifting up to 20 pounds, clear vision and hearing, effective communication skills, and occasional travel for meetings and training sessions.
