About the role
The Senior Manager of Supply Chain Finance is a key member of the Refresco North America Operations and Supply Chain Finance leadership team. This role leads financial planning, analytics, and reporting processes for the Refresco North America network to support improved cost management, cost reporting, and EBITDA growth. It ensures the integrity and accuracy of the company’s monthly financial reporting and analysis to support optimal working capital management. The role partners with Supply Chain, Procurement, Plant Operations, and Operations Finance teams to provide financially driven business guidance, supports system enhancements, and ensures best practices are embedded in new acquisitions.
Responsibilities
- Lead cost visibility for Supply Chain Financials and underlying Inventory & Logistics cost drivers, including Transfer Freight, Aged Inventory, Stock Movement, Dunnage, and Warehousing costs (Leases, Storage, Shuttles, Equipment, and Labor).
- Educate, support, and drive compliance with supply chain processes for logistics and inventory to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Lead development, consolidation, and presentation of all Supply Chain financial planning for Annual Operating Plan (AOP), 3+9, 8+4, 3YP, and variances to weekly (LE) and monthly (S&OP) estimates.
- Provide insight to cross-functional teams on the financial impact of operational activities, changes in sales and operating plans (S&OP/S&OE), and variance analysis to key cost drivers.
- Monitor North America Supply Chain KPIs to ensure full cost visibility of financial impact, risks, and opportunities from operational activities.
- Monitor and take corrective action on reconciliations and accounts pertaining to inventory and freight.
- Serve as liaison with external pallet vendors for annual audits, ensuring accuracy, process compliance, and adherence to contractual obligations.
- Support internal and external audit activities, including SOX controls testing and compliance.
- Support full integration of financial reporting for new plants from acquisition to the Refresco network.
- Collaborate with the Supply Chain team to identify and recommend process improvements for inventory and logistics activities.
- Lead preparation of Board-related materials, including financial impacts of network leasing strategy.
- Support Finance and Supply Chain projects, including user acceptance testing, validation, and documentation.
- Validate and test system changes pertaining to supply chain finance processes.
- Develop, maintain, and distribute process documentation for financial reporting and best practices.
- Troubleshoot Supply Chain reporting-related issues.
- Manage 3 to 4 direct reports, focusing on inventory and logistics financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
- Responsible for the personal development of team members to ensure success in current roles and future growth opportunities.
Requirements
- B.S. / B.A. degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 8+ years of related work experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (food-related manufacturing a plus).
- 3+ years of staff management and leadership experience.
- Experience working in an SAP environment.
- US GAAP/IFRS knowledge.
- Supply Chain knowledge.
