Senior Manager, Supplier Operations Management

At Danfoss Drives, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring a strong and resilient supply chain that supports the production of innovative power conversion technologies. Your work will directly influence material availability, supplier performance, and operational excellence for products that help drive energy efficiency and electrification around the world.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of Supplier Operations Specialists, creating an inclusive, high-performing culture built on engagement, coaching, accountability, and continuous growth.
  • Drive the execution of the Supplier Operations strategy, improving material availability, supply continuity, and inbound material flow through data-driven decision making and proactive planning.
  • Partner closely with suppliers to improve performance across delivery, lead times, inventory management, quality, capacity planning, and logistics optimization initiatives.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and sourcing teams to support design changes, supplier transitions, dual sourcing activities, PPAP execution, and successful product ramp-up and ramp-down activities.
  • Ensure effective use of SAP, PLM systems, and supporting tools, maintain critical material master data, resolve supplier payment and invoice issues, and support supply chain excellence initiatives across global teams, including our India Center of Excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or a related field, along with a background in procurement or other supply chain functions.
  • Proven people leadership experience with a track record of building engaged teams, creating psychological safety, and developing talent through coaching and collaboration.
  • Solid understanding of material flow management, supplier operations, ERP systems, and SAP within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively across a global matrix organization.
  • Fluent English skills and a proactive mindset with the ability to manage changing priorities while driving results through teamwork and influence.

Pay

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $115,000-$145,000 + bonus + benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
