Senior Manager Strategy Lead
About the role
The Senior Manager, Mobile Promo & Portfolio Strategy Lead focuses on the day-to-day management of Verizon’s device financing and early upgrade programs, as well as identifying new opportunities for revenue growth, cost optimization, and customer acquisition. This critical role within the Growth Marketing & Content team drives results by developing and launching new consumer products.
Responsibilities
- Growth Initiatives: Find and frame business problems, structure solutions, and develop business case assumptions for new device-related products.
- Product Development: Scope projects, develop roadmaps, and manage functional stakeholders.
- Executive Alignment: Communicate frequently with executive stakeholders on progress updates and new initiatives.
- Product Optimization: Own the end-to-end product P&L for Simplicity Plus/Pro and Flex Upgrade, including tactical optimization to drive take-rate growth and active management of device inclusions to maximize profitability.
- Financial Management: Evaluate alternative financing frameworks to drive incremental revenue growth and attract new market segments.
- Portfolio Expansion: Identify opportunities to expand Verizon’s device portfolio to better serve the consumer market.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Verizon’s value prop team to build joint offerings.
- Sales Channel Support: Create supporting product material for channel go-to-market execution.
Requirements
You'll need to have:
- Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
- Six or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work, military experience, or specialized training.
- Comfortability working in white space and wearing many hats daily.
- Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and deck-building).
- Experience building product requirements, developing business cases, and driving the strategy behind technical product builds.
- Experience managing multiple high-visibility, high-complexity projects simultaneously.
- Experience presenting to senior leadership and managing executive stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to bring a product through the development cycle and to market.
Qualifications
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
- An MBA or other related advanced degree.
- Proficiency with conducting research and cleaning/analyzing data.
- Hands-on experience leveraging AI tools to manage day-to-day responsibilities.
- Advanced proficiency with Google Suite products (Slides, Sheets, etc.).
- Experience building cross-functional relationships and influence.
Schedule
In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office, as set by your manager. Scheduled weekly hours: 40.
Pay
The annual salary range for this full-time position is $140,500.00 - $245,000.00, depending on location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive-based position with the potential to earn more.
