About the role

Join our Statistical Programming function as a Senior Manager, driving high-quality programming deliverables from single studies through regulatory approval, product launch, and beyond. Collaborate with partnering functions, external service providers, and study teams to ensure timely and accurate programming support.

Responsibilities

  • Lead programming support across multiple studies, ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables
  • Coordinate programming documentation and specifications, following established standards
  • Champion company values through excellence, collaboration, and accountability
  • Communicate proactively with study and project teams to clarify requirements and guide programmers
  • Drive submission-ready programming deliverables for global regulatory authority filings
  • Lead the development of direct reports through goal-setting, coaching, and mentoring
  • Contribute to hiring by screening and interviewing programming candidates

Requirements

  • Advanced SAS skills honed in a clinical data environment, ideally across multiple therapeutic areas
  • Strong understanding of clinical trial principles and regulatory submission requirements
  • Proven ability to lead global, cross-functional teams
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and priorities
  • Demonstrated mentoring or coaching experience with junior programmers

Qualifications

  • MS or BS in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Life Science, or a related discipline, with 10+ years (12+ for BS) of programming experience preferably in clinical trial data within biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or health-related industries, including some project and people management experience

Skills

  • Knowledge of additional programming languages such as R or Python

Pay

$150,500.00 - $245,500.00 annually
