About the role

The Senior Manager, Security Compliance will lead the development and implementation of security compliance programs across the organization. This includes ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, conducting risk assessments, and developing policies and procedures to mitigate risks.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive security compliance programs aligned with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address identified risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of documentation related to security compliance.
  • Ensure all security-related activities are compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and report on compliance status to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in security compliance, preferably within a corporate environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing and maintaining security compliance programs.
  • Experience with relevant compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or GDPR.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration across departments.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with security audit tools and processes.
  • Knowledge of incident response and crisis management.
  • Experience with regulatory bodies and their compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
